Candidates Forum
The Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce along with the Cape Cod Young Professionals will host a pre-primary candidates’ event for two regional races: 10th Congressional District and Cape & Islands State Senate. The event is slated for Friday September 10, 2010 at 8:00 AM at the Cape Codder Resort in Hyannis. Matt Pitta, WKTX radio news director will moderate the session. All candidates are invited to the event, however, only those with primary races in these seats will be invited to participate in the question and answer format.
The event is free to members of the Cape Cod Chamber and the CCYP as well as open to the public. Candidates who have confirmed attendance include Sheila Lyons (D); Dan Wolf (D); Eric Steinhilber (R) and Jim Crocker (R) all running for the state senate seat; Ray Kasperowicz (R), Jeffrey Perry (R), Bob Hayden (R), William Keating (D), Rob O’Leary (D) candidates for congress.

The Last Gasp
Join CCYP's Last Gasp Team and raise money for some great causes! We have been challenged by the Hospice and Palliatiative Care Team and we can't be shown up!
The nineteenth annual Last Gasp will be held September 19, 2010. Come join us in one of Cape Cod’s quintessential fundraising events which features a 62 mile bike ride along beautiful Rt. 6A from Sandwich to Provincetown, an hour long Cape Cod Bay cruise aboard a Dolphin Fleet ferry boat, and a traditional Cape Cod clambake with all the fixin’s. This event incorporates so many things that are good. It’s athletic, very social, and ends with an incredible feast of lobster, clams, corn, chowder, and chicken. If you take part, it will prove to be one of your most fun days of 2010.
